Sydney Brie comes home!

Loving life as parents!

Leaving the hospital

36 hours after being born, our little girl got to see her new home and meet her older brother, Cooper. She is sleeping, eating and pooping like a champ. I dont think we could have ever imagined anything this precious that could consume our attention like she does. We are blessed and loving our new little addition.

Meet Our Little Miracle: Sydney Brie

Our daughter was born on Wednesday August 27th, at 3:58am. She weighed in at 7 pounds 6 ounces, and was 20 and 3/4 inches long. After 12 hours of labor, including an epidural, a drop in my blood pressure, decelerations in Sydney's heart rate, the cord wrapped around her neck, and a near ulcer formed in David's stomach, she was delivered normally and healthy. THANK YOU GOD!

Baby Shower Blowout

My dear friend Emily threw me an amazing shower in Fresno this past weekend. Dave and I prepared for the weekend by landscaping our front yard- IN ONE DAY. Dave thought the neighbors might call the police when they say a very pregnant woman digging holes and planting plants in 100 degree heat. He assured them it was all voluntary. With some much needed help of some hard working friends, our front yard is beautiful!
The baby shower was amazing- delicious food, a chocolate fountain, friends, prayers, and lots of gifts. Cooper had fun too. Our close friends Shay and Adam came to stay with us for the weekend, too. It was a busy, but wonderful weekend! And now I am only two weeks away from my due date- we are all ready for our little bundle of joy!

Emily and I- she definitely out-did herself in throwing this shower

Two pregos ready to pop- hopefully sooner than later

Soon-to-be grandma Marilyn is just as excited as we are for this baby to be here
